Cancellations Before Shipping Your Book
If you change your mind and request a cancellation before mailing your physical book to our facility, you are entitled to a full refund minus a 5% administrative and banking processing fee. Please note that this 5% fee is strictly non-refundable as it covers our third-party merchant processing costs.
Cancellations After Your Book Arrives
Once your physical book has arrived at our facility and scanning production has commenced, the service cannot be canceled, and no refunds will be issued.
If your book has arrived but scanning production has not yet started, you may request a cancellation. We will refund your order amount minus a 5% administration fee, plus the exact cost of return shipping to return your book to you.
Expired Orders
As outlined in our Terms of Service, orders where no book is received within 90 days will be marked as Expired. These orders are subject to a 5% administrative cancellation fee, or they may be converted to store credit at our sole discretion.
Dispute & Chargeback Cost Recovery
We maintain responsive, direct support channels to resolve any payment or transaction issues. If a payment dispute or card chargeback is initiated with a banking institution without prior communication with our support desk, and the dispute is subsequently resolved in our favour, any secondary manual refund adjustments will be subject to the deduction of the actual processing fees and operational costs charged to our account by the card network or merchant gateway during the dispute process along with the 5% administrative and banking processing fee.
How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation, please email us directly at support@digitisemybooks.co.uk with your name and order number. Please do not open a dispute with your payment provider, as we handle all valid refund requests directly.
